Introduction
The Alumni business is one of the most important issues within the School of Business, and the School of Business has always been keeping a close relationship with the graduates. Till now, there have been a total of 7,709 alumni of the School of Business, including 5,848 undergraduate alumni, 689 MBA alumni, and 1,172 EE alumni. The School has established close and strong links with alumni chapters in Beijing, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Hong Kong, Dongguan, and other main cities in China. To strengthen connections between alumni and the School, the School of Business officially set up the Alumni Office in September 2007 and assigned staff to take charge of the relevant work. The School Alumni Office operates independently and reports on important events and updates the STU Alumni Office with alumni data frequently.
With the development of new media technology, the School tends to organise alumni work online and with diversity. The Alumni Office mainly collects information on graduates by year of entry and major, building a contact book, WeChat groups, and QQ chat groups to maintain daily communication. The Alumni Office holds online and offline activities, offers services for each chapter, assists in the reception of alumni around the world, and promotes communication and cooperation within the alumni body and between the alumni and the School.
As a graduate we hope you will continue to stay involved in the activities of the School of Business. Your involvement as an alumnus is invaluable and will help our students gain a more rounded understanding of the business world.

● Internships and Career Placements
As Alumni, you can give directions on career planning, professional ethics and professional studies to our students. We highly welcome your company to come back and hire our students as interns or provide career positions to our graduates.
● Fundraising and Donations
To support the School, outstanding alumni have donated funds to establish a variety of scholarships that reward students for academic excellence or provide financial aid to support disadvantaged students in completing their studies. In the past decade, alumni have donated nearly 179,439 Euro in the form of scholarships or financial aid. In 2019, 8,162 Euro were awarded as financial aid to a total of 18 students in poverty, while 26,168 Euro were awarded as scholarships to 45 undergraduates who excelled academically.
● Involvement in Practical Teaching
Several outstanding alumni have been appointed as industry mentors to share their industry experience and practical knowledge during the teaching process or project instruction, which has become a powerful supplement to the teaching of theoretical courses.
● Involvement in School Management
As one of the School’s important stakeholders, alumni have provided valuable advice and comments on professional development, international accreditation, quality assurance, and seminars etc.
