The objective of the BEcon Programme is to develop students’ general and professional knowledge, international vision, data analysis skills, integrative thinking skills, capacity to solve practical economic problems, awareness of sustainability, professional ethics, and social responsibility. It aims to enable graduates to assume managerial positions in business and industry, public sector organisations, financial institutions, international organisations, and other organisations. Graduates may choose to start their entrepreneurial business ventures, as well. The programme also prepares students for master’s degree studies if they wish to continue in that direction.

· BEcon Programme
1. International Economics and Trade
The major of International Economics and Trade aims to cultivate composite trade and business management talents with socialist core values, professional ethics, scientific literacy, international vision, innovation and entrepreneurship and craftsmanship.
Students in this major will receive systematic learning and training in basic theory, professional knowledge, professional skills, application skills and thinking of international economics and trade, with emphasis on training students to analyze and solve problems related to foreign-related economy and international trade. After graduation, students will be able to work in multinational companies, foreign-related organizations, relevant government agencies, universities or scientific research institutions in related work on economic and trade business, decision-making management, data analysis, consultation, scientific research and so on.
2. Finance
The major of Finance aims to cultivate composite financial management talents with socialist core values, professional ethics, scientific literacy, international vision, innovative and entrepreneurial ability and craftsmanship.
Students in this major will receive systematic learning and training of professional knowledge, professional skills and thinking ability in banking, securities, insurance, etc., with emphasis on cultivating students' ability to analyze and solve finance-related problems. Through the systematic study of this major, students will be able to engage in practical financial work in banking, securities, insurance, trust and other industries after graduation, and be able to engage in risk management, data analysis, decision-making consulting and other financial-related work in government agencies, enterprises and institutions, and social organizations.
