Catherine Low is both the Country Manager of ING Bank in Singapore, as well as the Managing Director and Regional Head of ING’s International Trade and Export Finance Business in Asia. ING Bank has been voted the Best Commodity Finance Bank in Asia Pacific in the GTR Asia Leaders in Trade 2013 award.  Catherine will explain what is meant by Commodity, International Trade, and some common banking products in Trade Finance. She will also share her perspective of ING’s competitive advantages behind the bank’s market leading position in financing of international commodity trades.
 
Jamie Teong will explain the context that the public sector works within, the underlying philosophies that undergirds how they operate, and some of the strategic HR principles and practices by which they ensure public officers and public sector agencies are able to keep pace with the demands of service in a globalised environment.

附:Catherine Low Jamie Teong简介
Catherine is the Singapore Country Manager of ING N.V, Singapore branch, overseeing about 450 employees in Singapore.  ING is a global financial institution of Dutch origin, offering banking, investments, life insurance and retirement services to meet the needs of a broad customer base.
 
In addition to her Singapore Country Management role, Catherine is also responsible for the International Trade and Export Finance business of ING in Asia. This includes Trade & Commodity Finance (which finances the production, processing, transportation, storage and trading of major commodities), and Structured Export Finance (export financing with export credit agencies). In this regional role, she manages close to 40 employees in various relationship management and product teams located in Singapore, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Beijing, Seoul and Tokyo.
 
Jaime is Associate Fellow and Senior Management team member of the Civil Service College, Singapore and concurrently a Principal Consultant in the Institute for Adult Learning (IAL) under the Workforce Development Agency. She represents Singapore as a member of the Commonwealth HR Network in the Commonwealth Association for Public Administration and Management (CAPAM).  Jaime serves the community as Vice Chairman of the Coaching and Mentoring Special Interest Group under the Adult Education Network. She volunteers help to people seeking to overcome deep hurts and work through obstructive issues in their lives.
Previously Director of Personnel and Finance in the Public Service Division (PSD) of the Prime Minister’s Office, Jaime moved to direct HR in a private medical group and private hospital, but was brought back into Service at the critical time of the statboardisation of the Civil Service College, to bring through the transition of the College’s HR and corporate systems essential to a newly self-financing entity.
