BGA (The Business Graduates Association)

BGA (The Business Graduates Association) traces its origins to the name used when AMBA was first established in 1967. Its purpose is "to advocate the importance of lifelong learning" while also focusing on the mission of promoting responsible management and online learning. In 2019, to further advance the innovative development of business education, the Association of MBAs relaunched BGA based on its AMBA accreditation. This initiative aims to promote impactful business education on a broader scale, is committed to responsible management practices and lifelong learning, and seeks to create a positive influence for students, the economy, and society at large. Its Continuous Impact Model (CIM) forms the foundation of the entire BGA accreditation, encompassing six indicators, including intent, graduate achievement, scholarship, ecosystem, value creation and society. BGA continues to flourish annually, with its member institutions steadily growing. Currently, there are over 210 BGA member schools, and more than 90 business schools accredited by AMBA now hold BGA membership.

PRME (Principles for Responsible Management Education) is a global initiative launched by the United Nations Global Compact in 2007, aiming to encourage business schools to integrate sustainability, social responsibility, and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) into their teaching, research, and practices. Through six core principles—Purpose, Values, Method, Research, Partnership, and Dialogue—PRME inspires higher education institutions to cultivate leaders who possess both business acumen and social responsibility, enabling them to address global challenges such as climate change and economic inequality, and foster sustainable development for both enterprises and society. It has now become the world's largest network of educational institutions collaborating with the United Nations.
