On the 1st and 2nd of April, the Introduction Conference on the Value of AACSB Accreditation was held in the School of Business, Sun Yat-sen University. Associate Professor Ying KONG, Director of International Exchange and Cooperation Program in Business School, attended this conference.
This meeting was hosted by Prof. Eileen Peacock, Vice President of AACSB in Asia-Pacific region. She made a detailed introduction of AACSB’s mission, background, current situation, standards and AACSB’s future development in southern China. Prof. Peacock also answered the questions of the representatives from various universities on AACSB Accreditation. Prof. Ying KONG had a discussion with Eileen Peacock for an hour on various questions or problems met in the Accreditation application of our school, and get many valuable suggestions from her.
The international Accreditation is an important standard for the internationalization of the Business School. AACSB, EQUIS and AMBAs are the three most important international Accreditation systems for Business Schools. In China, only Tsinghua University and Euro-China International Business College have passed the AACSB Accreditation.
