On 12 March, 2017, business school exchange students from Lithuania, student buddies and student assistants participated in Chaozhou one-day trip, together with Prof. Doffou, Prof. Gasiorowska and four professors from Singapore. This trip provided chances to know more about the culture of Chaoshan region and experience the local live styles, which is not only enjoyable but also thought-provoking.
For the exchange students and foreign professors, it was their first time to Chaozhou since they came to STU. During this trip, we had visited Danfu Garden to appreciate Chinese calligraphy, Han Wengong Temple to know about the accomplishments of a meritorious figure, and Paifang Street where we tired local dishes and snacks. We were enjoying the new environment and learning from Chaoshan culture and customs at the same time.
Thanks to this trip, we have learned more about Chaoshan history and culture which enables us to better to understand the live styles here. This is not just for fun, but also an opportunity to learn about something new and meaningful.
