At the end of August, the orientation week began. Teachers and students are warm and friendly. With their help, we visited the university and the main scenic spots of the old town, learned daily expression in Lithuania and made friends with people from all over the world.
From September to December, we learned three subjects. Despite the different content of each subjects, professors emphasized students’ participation. For example, students would have one or even two hours to analyze cases and ask questions. Professors helped students think independently and ask good questions. Students learned in a relaxed, fun atmosphere, and barely played with their phones or computers.
In our spare time, our new friends and we went to parties, visited the scenery spots, talked about our life, expressed our opinions, and benefited from the collision of ideas from different cultures.
We also took part in an activity named Multilingual Lithuania, which including the students from all the universities in Vilnius. We talked about the STU, and shared our life, knowledge and experience in China. In the discussion, we also had deeper understanding of other students’ s society and culture.
