April 24, four Exco members of Shantou University Enactus met with Ms. Judy Howard, President of Australian Enactus, under the guidance of our faculty advisor Dennis Lee. The main contents of the sharing include the following two points: 1. A brief introduction to the operation of Enactus Australia; 2. Projects sharing.
First of all, Ms. Judy Howard briefed us on the culmination of the World Cup in Australia. In addition to team races, the organizers of Enactus Australia will seize the opportunity of gathering all the college student teams together to promote student career development. The organizers, by inviting companies and alumni, will teach students the experience of resume production and on-site interviewing, such as the use of good collar platform to highlight their career development keywords, how to meet the workplace needs, interview skills and so on. This is a great inspiration for STU Enactus' creation - whether it can provide staff-related training for members, so as to improve the stickiness of members? In addition, the Australian creation will be in the annual national competition on the selection of the best creative team members, the best project manager, in order to achieve the incentive to maximize the creation of players. This is also worthy of our team learning reference.
Next, four core members from the University of Sydney, University of New Southwest and Macquarie University came to the conference site to share with us. The projects mentioned included food waste conversion, selling artistic works for disabled people, the establishment of cooking schools for refugees, and so on. The three schools of the creation of the project with the following common ground: 1. In the audience situation similar to the premise, the team run the project content also has a certain commonality, and even learn from each other development experience. This is a bit with the Chinese team for the sake of competition, little exchange of similar projects is very different. 2. Better access to financial support from local councils and corporate social responsibility departments. 3. The members of the team constitute a strong diversity, members from different professional and balanced. Among them, the University of Sydney use of summer project members of the practice is worth learning from the reference.、
