This prestigious designation positions the Center as a key player within the national network of specialized think tanks dedicated to China-ASEAN relations.
With continued strong support from Shantou University, the ASEAN-China Research Center is committed to advancing the high-quality joint construction of the Belt and Road Initiative. The Center aims to establish itself as a leading professional think tank with a distinct focus on "multilateral industrial cooperation and overseas Chinese cultural exchange."
Looking ahead, the Center aspires to evolve into a prominent "think tank" and "brain trust" at the national level, serving as a vital source of intellectual support for informed decision-making by central government bodies, Guangdong Province, and relevant local government departments.
