Recently, eight students from Shantou University School of Business, namely Yuan Jingyi, Lin Peijie, Huang Yunyao, Wu Gengnan, Pan Xiaoyao, Huang Jia, Chen Lei, and Li Jiaxin, successfully completed their overseas exchange study programs in Japan and South Korea. During the 2024 fall semester, these students embarked on exchange studies lasting for several months at Waseda University in Japan, Chosun University and Chonnam National University in South Korea, as well as Dongguk University.
This exchange study program was a profoundly meaningful academic and cultural journey for the students. On foreign campuses, they not only encountered different academic ideas and methodologies but also gained a deep understanding of the education systems and learning environments of various countries. For instance, at Chosun University in South Korea, the students participated in several international academic seminars, discussing cutting-edge academic issues with scholars from around the world. This cross-cultural academic experience not only enhanced their professional competencies but also broadened their global perspectives and improved their communication skills.
Shantou University School of Business will continue to advance its internationalization strategy, further enhancing students' international competitiveness and making greater contributions to cultivating composite talents with international perspectives and cross-cultural communication abilities.
