Business School Achieved Gratifying Results in 2008 Enrollment

       The 2008 enrollment of Shantou University came to a comprehensive end in mid-August. Our Business School has achieved gratifying results in the enrollment under the joint efforts of leaders, teachers and students. The number of student who first chose our school rose sharply. The major of Business Administration maintains the record of 100% of the first-choice enrollment rate in the five consecutive years while the major of International Economics and Trade which was resumed this year also realized 100% first-choice enrollment rate.

      Totally, the number of student actually matriculated in our Business School is 177, while there are 272 students who first choose Business School and pass the admission line. The ratio of the admission number and the first-choice number is 1:1.54, ranking the first in the whole university. And our school makes great contribution to raise the whole university's first-choice enrollment rate. Among all of the matriculated students in Shantou University, the highest points respectively in Science Subject and Arts Subject are both in our Business School.
