On the afternoon of March 25th, Dr. Kun TAN from Japan, Waseda University made a speech on “Knowledge Exploration and Exploitation：A Comparative Study of Multinational Corporations” in the 5th Meeting Room of the ACC. Dr. Kun TAN graduated from Waseda University and his research fields are international business, innovation and knowledge management, as well as the comparative study of industries and economy in Japan and China. The lecture was hosted by Prof. Hongxin YAO.
The knowledge exploration and exploitation is always a key point in the research area. In the lecture, Dr Kun TAN shared his views in this field. He used an old international company, MOTOROLA and a new international company, Huawei to analyze their current situations in the knowledge exploration and exploitation. Then he made a conclusion: the cooperation of development and application of knowledge among multinational companies are good for both companies.
The theme of this lecture has got positive responses from the students and teachers. Several teachers have made through discussions with Dr. Kun TAN.The lecture’s atmosphere was active and it has achieved excellent results.
