From 22nd, Feb to 28th, Feb, 2014 Copenhagen Business School Case Competition was hosted by CBS Committee in Copenhagen Business School, Copenhagen, Denmark. Under the leadership under our associate professor Dennis Lee, Guan Li Chuan from 2010 International Business, Yang Yan Qi from 2010 International Finance, Xie Zhou Ke from 2010 International Business and Hu Yi Yun from 2010 Marketing formed the Phoneix Consulting and competed fiercely with 12 top universities from America, Canada, Australia, Singapore, Indonesia and Hongkong.
In the group draw, Shantou University was in group B with Copenhagen Business School, University of St. Gallen and University of Melbourne. The finalists were Wharton Business School from group A, Copenhagen Business School from group B and National University of Singapore from group At the end, Wharton Business School was the champion of CBS 2014.
The Copenhagen Business School Case Competition is not only an outstanding and high quality case competition but also a real world business networking event. With 32-hours case solving and networking with top universities like Wharton Business School and National University of Singapore, Shantou University as a very young university, shows the eager, confidence and enthusiasm for learning. During the social activities and case solving, Shantou University has received positive feedback on social interaction, teamwork and English expression by judges. Dennis Lee and the students have deep conversations with CBS Committee, candidates and judges and received constructive suggestions. This experience will help our Business School students make better improvement and go further in other case competitions.
