On 7th June, Mr Zhang Yuan, digital marketing manager of Procter & Gamble (P&G), visited STU Business School to deliver a lecture for grade 2008 marketing students.
Mr Zhang systemically introduced the scope and development of, as well as prospects for, digital marketing in P&G. By sharing his experiences in coping with challenges posted by the tasks in the transnational firm, he recommended students to keep up with development trends in the business world and learn to apply theories in carrying out practical tasks-the practice which he cited as 'learn by doing'.
Topping the list of expectation for business graduates are the abilities to lead and coordinate, he told attendees.
Mr Zhang's lecture offered valuable insights of marketing with his professional perspectives. Attendees also found the hints and recommendations provided inspiring.
