No. 10, "Enterprise Management Lecture Series":Current Hot Issues in Contract Law

In the economic globalization, trade between enterprises become increasingly frequently. How to make enterprise have a better understanding of the current contract law in China's economic hot spots, make better use of legal weapons to protect their lawful rights and interests, and better maintain the socio-economic orders?  

In order to discuss these problems, Shantou University Business and Management Education Center invited law expert Associate Professor LI Wanli make a speech on “Current hot issues in contract law” for 07, 08 Grades class gradate students on 17th, May.
 
During the lecture, Li analyzed daily life of real good cases for the students and laws and regulations on it. She encouraged students to link their own business management and personal life to think about things. She also pointed out that companies would face many problems in the development of marketing economy so companies should learn laws to escape them. Corporate awareness of the law has become a very important issue. It is an essential requirement for enterprises to master the law, use of law and comply with the law because the market economy is the law economy.
 
This lecture has positive effects on normaling business behavior and business organization and management, avoiding legal risks and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of enterprises. After the lecture, the participants asked questions combined with actual combat experience of their own to explore consulting and business issues related to rights with the teacher. Li gave serious answers related to legal knowledge. Li’s clear legal theory, unique innovative thinking tight, lively and passionate speech were praised by students. The speech made a successful conclusion in the warm applause of the participants.
 
Speaker Profile: 
LI Wanli, female, was born in December 1962 and her hometown is Hebei Shulu. She is Associate Professor of Shantou University School Faculty of Law, Master Instructor and, Graduate of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences Master on Civil and Commercial Law. In October 1994, she went to University of Nottingham to study international commercial law and her Instructor was M.G.Bridge. In September 1999, she went to University of Leuven Business School in Belgium to study MBA. She returned to work in September 2001. In May 2006 - April 07 she was vice-president of attachment in Guangdong Chaozhou Municipal Intermediate People's Court.
