Sept. 10, 2009 was the first day for the arrival of freshman of Grade 2009 at Business School. Staff and students have been making a great preparation for this day.
Early in the morning, volunteers of Business School well set up the welcoming camp, getting ready for a warm welcome toward the freshman. Firstly, volunteers measured the temperature of each freshman and parents to make sure of everybody’s safety in the public since these days the cold of H1N1 is threading. Then, student tutors helped freshman with several procedures of registration and also took freshman to their dorms to settle down.
Because of their interest in economics, freshmen of Business School were touched by the warm welcome of Business School. They believe that they will have a good life in the future.
Many parents gave comments that Shantou University is very clean with nice green space and volunteers are warm-hearted. They got a great impression on Business School and felt relieved to have their children study here.
We sincerely wish freshmen may get close to the community of Business School with the help of volunteers and student tutors, enjoying their life here.
