May 9, 2009, more than 80 students went to the La-fang Chaonan enterprise in the organization of students Union to visit industrial park and feel "La Tour-fang submissive".
Students came to the La-fang Chaonan Industrial Park located in Shantou City after one hour travel. In the exchange meeting, the responsible person ZHAO Yingshan expressed gratitude for the support from La-fang Group on behalf of Business School. She also hoped that students would feel good enterprise culture and do a good job in life planning through this activity. Then, La-fang Group’s reception staffs introduced La-fang Group from many aspects.
Then, Mr. LIANG Zhuocheng who graduated from our school’s Business Management major in 2007 and now is the Brand Assistant of La-fang communicated experiences on working course, working content and a few recommendations on finding jobs. He said students should work hard and enhance themselves because the pressure from work was great and enterprises always audited us. He also mentioned that we should take every chance to study and take part in some organizations to practice ourselves.
CHEN Xianing who also graduated from STU appeared in the meeting too. He raised a thought-provoking question through passing on the corporate and brand positioning: have you set your personal goals? He said that by setting goals you can know your improvements everyday towards your goals. He also asked students questions such as: what’s your personal development goal? How many books do you want to read? What can you do for the society after your graduation? These questions let students think a lot.
After the exchange meeting, students entered the last stop of "La –fang Tour” - the modernization of La-fang Workshop. Looking at computers and automated production lines, students broadened the horizons of sights. By asking staffs, students knew that the packaging of products did by manual work inside and outside because it can t can better control the quality.
The duration of the activity was not very long but it let students feel what large enterprises were. And some students thought large enterprises paid more attention to people's livelihood besides production and staff.
