Business School Organized Training Camp for Freshman Extra-curricular Counselors
In order to do a good job in freshman welcome, our Business School has organized a Leadership and Teamwork Training Camp for Freshman Extra-curricular Counselors in this golden September. The freshman extra-curricular counselor system has been successively carried out for 10 years in Business School. This system, which aims to enhance the leadership and teamwork skills for the counselors, is one of the characteristics in Business School’s student work. This year, the freshman extra-curricular counselor recruitment had been started in June, and 64 students officially become the freshman extra-curricular counselors after a rigorous selection process. Then, a five days’ Training Camp began on September 1.
The Leadership and Teamwork Training Camp, 2008 was planed and organized by Youth League Committee, Business School; Chase who is from USA and the head teacher of class 2008 assisted in the training. A series of interesting games were designed for the training, such as “Landmine War”, “Bundling Action”, and so on, which merged team management theories together and made the theories more easily understood to the participators.
Su Bingtian, a teacher of Youth League Committee, considered that this training had achieved a positive effect and said: "the counselors performed positively in the training, and the atmosphere was very good. This training not only enhanced the freshman counselors’ understanding of leadership and teamwork, but also raised the trust between team members. And Chase is very friendly, humorous, and responsible at work, also willing to cooperate; working together with him is very happy.”
