In the afternoon of Jan 15, 2009, Mr. Eric Hwang, Asian Operation Majordomo of Canada Royal Roads University, visited Business School under the companion of Mr. Xu Lesheng, Section Chief of International Cooperation Department.
Mr. Eric Hwang once visited Shantou University with Dr. Allan Cahoon, Chancellor of Canada Royal Roads University on Oct 15, 2008, primarily expressed cooperation intent. His visit was to negotiate details about the cooperation between two Business Schools. Prof. Ou Yangfeng, Deputy Dean of Business, Prof. Lin Danming, Prof. Wang Wei and Prof. Kong Ying communicated with Mr. Eric Hwang.
During the symposia, Mr. Eric Hwang introduced development history, course, students characteristic of Canada Royal Roads University briefly and proposed exchange intent on undergraduate and part-time graduate students between two Business Schools. Both parties deeply discussed the probability of cooperation.

Canada Royal Roads University lies in Victoria City, Capital of British Columbia Province, is Canadian famous university. It also is member of Canada and Common Wealth Public University Association.
Royal Roads University founded in 1906 by governor of Columbia Province. Its campus covered 227 ha, was 10 km from Victoria downtown in Hadley National Park. Hadley Castle lied in its campus, which was bought by Canadian Federal Government in 1940 and re-constructured as teaching building.
