Business School Teachers’ Thesis Were Admitted to AOM Annual Meeting

Time : 2009-04-01

Recently, Academy of Management (AOM) noticed the thesis that would be used in the Annual Meeting of 2009. Fortunately, doctor WANG Wei’s thesis “Thrive, not just survive: Enhance dynamic capabilities of SMEs through IS competences” and Professor LIN Danming’s thesis “The effect of potential and realized absorptive capacity on firm’s competitive advantage in China” were selected as the papers to be read in the meeting.

AOM is the world's largest and highest levels of organizations in professional management and its annual conference attracts scholars and executives of transnational corporations to take part in it. The selected papers were assessed by anonymous assessment and the papers to be read in the Annual Meeting were selected particularly strict. The two papers selected by the AOM demonstrate the ever-increasing scientific research abilities of Business School.

Business School actively promoted the internationalization of research activities and achieved many gratifying results. In the year of 2008, Business School teachers have published four academic papers in international Journals and two of them were indexed by SSCI. In addition, several teachers have read their papers in a series of international academic conferences.
