At 19:45, on Dec. 10, 2008, Business School the 4th career solon was held in 201 room, E Teaching Building. The lecture was Mr. Hu Nanshan, Marketing Majordomo of Guangfa Securities, Shantou Branch. Majordomo Hu was graduated from International Accounting major, Jinan University, and from Law major, South China University of Technology. He is studying EMBA in Jinan University. Mr. Su Junzhi hosted this lecture.
From the very beginning, Majordomo Hu said “This is my strength for this lesson, absolutely true data.” He told students that he was monitor during his college life, however, he was afraid of speaking in front of his classmates. But now, he could make speech calmly, which was changed by marketing.
He also shared his marketing life. During 8 years after his graduate, he was still sitting in office. But he was the “typical” employee in Amway corporation because of his zero sales, which was never seen in history. Just for this reason, he was changed to another position. Under such a new environment, he was a three-no people, no experience, no capital, no team. In the course of building team, he made speech to members every morning, which was a so big challenge to him. He got success at last.
Majordomo Hu sighed no one could not go smoothly for ever, there was so much frustration. One Spring Festival, he didn’t go home, but to deal pain and tears by himself. However, he kept struggling. Even there was a promotion chance; he also dropped, because he believed he can make success. At last, he did.
To major knowledge, Majordomo Hu pointed that major knowledge must be mastered strongly in whatever line you do. He said that marketing equals to build your own pipeline, like spider net, to build marketing network. Believe in yourself, be confident to yourself. You can grow up really after strong storm. This financial storm is a chance to learn more knowledge.
During the Q&A, students asked questions actively. And Majordomo Hu answered carefully. He spurred all the students’ interest, and left deep impression in students. At last, Mr. Su Junzhi made brief conclusion.
