At 10 o'clock on May 7, Business School invited outstanding alumni ZHONG Weifeng to give a post-graduate seminar in Seminar Room. Business School General party branch secretary CHEN Motian, teacher CUI Weiwei, MENG Fanchun and some post-graduates attended the seminar. The meeting was presided by teacher CUI Weiwei.
CUI Weiwei welcomed ZHONG Weifeng at first on behaves of Business School and introduced his background to post-graduates. ZHONG Weifeng graduated from Business School in 2006 and he was the winner of “STU prize”. After graduation he went to University of Hong Kong to study for a master's degree and he was admitted to Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University with a full scholarship in the beginning of 2009.
Secretary CHEN expressed appreciation for his spirit of study under this material Community and his honest, the will to study when he studied in STU.
In the meeting, ZHONG Weifeng introduced a number of his special experiences in Hong Kong University. And the attendees asked some questions on notes when he applied for a PhD in the United States, Hong Kong University’s graduate curriculum, issues that you should pay attention to when reading English literatures, the difference between normal research and empirical studies.
At last, ZHONG Weifeng exchanged contacting ways with post-graduates. They also said that they would take ZHONG Weifeng as a example and continue learning and improving themselves.
