Business School Student Cadres Attended the 30 Years’ Reform and Opening-up – Four Universities Academic Forum
On Dec 13 and Dec 14, 2008, a group of 10 student cadres of Business School, Shantou University was invited and attended the opening ceremony 30 Years’ Reform and Opening-up – Four Universities Academic Forum in Shenzhen University. The forum was organized by the Economic Institute of Shenzhen University, Business School of Shantou University, the School of Economics in Xiamen University and the School of Economics on the Zhu-hai Campus, Sun Yat-Sen University.
Student representatives from the four universities attended the exchange meeting. Representatives from each university exchange history culture of each university and college as well as organization chart and activities of students’union by videos, theme speech and conversation. All attendees had a visit to the beautiful campus of Shenzhen University with the reception and guiding of representatives from Shenzhen University. In the debating competition, all representatives gave a wonderful performance and expressed their opinions on whether to read as many books as possible in Information Era.
On Dec 13,2008, Business School representatives also watched the wonderful performance organized by the Economic Institute of Shenzhen University on the theme of celebration for Shenzhen City’s Prosperous Development in 30 Years’ Reform and Opening-up.
The forum has reinforced university student’s understanding of Reform and Opening-up and national sense of pride and has also promoted the communication among the four universities, providing a solid foundation for further exchange in the future. By exchange, representatives experienced the great changes in these 30 years, summarized the developing experiences and inherited the product of Reform and Opening-up. The forum promoted friendship among students from the four universities, and also provided a great chance for the four universities students to exchange and witness the wonderful development result of Reform and Opening-up from the perspective of academic and professional knowledge.
