On the morning of September 25th, a delegation led by Cui Nan, the Party Secretary of the School of Economics and Management at Shaanxi University of Science and Technology, visited our School for exchange. Representatives from the School of Business at Shantou University, including Long Yue'e, the Vice Dean, Zou Zongbao, the head of the Management Science Research Group, Meng Shu, the Vice Director of the MBA Education Center, and administrative staff, were present at the discussion. The meeting was presided over by Vice Dean Long Yue'e.
At the beginning of the meeting, Vice Dean Long Yue'e expressed a warm welcome on behalf of the School of Business at Shantou University to Cui Nan and the delegation for their visit. She provided a brief introduction and shared experiences about the School's general situation, undergraduate program development, teaching achievements, and the characteristics and effectiveness of talent cultivation. Vice Director Meng Shu briefly introduced the development history of the MBA program, enrollment status, and the unique features of talent cultivation.
Secretary Cui Nan highly praised the distinctive features of Shantou University School of Business and the outstanding achievements in talent cultivation. He expressed his hope for both institutions to strengthen teaching exchanges, mutual visits, and resource sharing in the future, promoting academic exchange and collaboration.
During the discussion and exchange session, both parties engaged in extensive and in-depth discussions and explorations on topics including innovation and reform of talent cultivation programs, the development of business programs in the context of "artificial intelligence and big data+," integrated thinking education, internship practices, textbook development, and international joint education programs.
