On November 26, the national finals of the 2023 Belt and Road and BRICS Skills Development and Technology Innovation Competition in the field of Big Data Analysis Application and Decision-Making, Marketing, and Human Resources Big Data were concluded at Dalian University of Finance. A total of 73 teams from 30 provinces, municipalities, and autonomous regions across the country, with over 500 teachers and students, participated in the on-site competition at Dalian University of Finance.
Under the high attention and support of our university and school, with careful guidance from the instructors and the determined efforts of the participating students, our university achieved outstanding results in this competition, winning the first prize nationwide!
The team named "Dare to Dream and Dare to Charge," composed of Chen Lulu, Lin Peijie, You Jicong, and Deng Jinrong, all from the School of Business and the School of Mathematics and Computer Science, respectively, secured the first prize in the undergraduate group at the national finals. The instructors, Professors Guo Gongxing and Liu Jiubing from the School of Business, were honored with the Outstanding Instructor Award.
This excellent achievement is attributed to the high attention and warm care of the university and school leaders, the diligent efforts and professional guidance of the instructor team, and the hard work and teamwork of the participating members. It showcases our university's strength and influence in the field of marketing big data and demonstrates the charm of Shantou University students in the new era.
