The discipline of Applied Economics was granted in 1998, and is the earliest master’s degree obtained by STUBS. After more than 20 years of development, it focuses on three research directions: industrial upgrading and organizational innovation, capital market and financial industry innovation, and Guangdong-Taiwan industrial economic cooperation. It adopts the Outcome-oriented (OBE) teaching mode for refined training and the EFMD accreditation standards for international training to cultivate high-level professionals who are capable of applied economic theory research and industrial economic management.
