On Jan 21st 2010, the 30th GMC China final was held in Beijing. “H”, the representative team from Business School, Shantou University passed through preliminary round, semi-final and entered the final. “H” was the 4th in the national round. They was awarded the first prize in China final and the best organization award.
The five members of Team H are: Han jian (CEO); Liu Jinjian (CIO); Chen Yongsheng (CMO); Zhong Ling (CFO) and Xu Xianping (Production Supervisor). The Associate Professor of Business School, Zeng Fanqi, is the advisor of this team.
GMC is an annually global corporative simulation competition. This contest is regarded as the Olympics in business administration area for its long history, board participation from different countries and areas and huge international impact. Competitors of GMC China division are from institutions of higher learning, government organs, enterprises, scientific institutions and so on. All of them have undergraduate degrees and 80% of them are MBAs or MBA graduate students.
