The members endeavored to promote, learn and gather experience, favoring the group’s construction and development, helping to start and carry out programs efficiently.

The group arrived at the Open University of Hong Kong to take part in the opening ceremony at 10. There were ten SIFE groups participating this match: Zhongshan University, Guang Dong University of Foreign Studies, the Open University of Hong Kong, Xiamen University of Technology, Jinan University and so on. And there were four universities’ groups watched this match: Shantou University, Xiamen University, South China University of Technology and Beijing Normal University-Hong Kong Baptist University Joined International College.

The match proceeded in the form of showing the multimedia annual report of each group’s program; the representative of each group reported their program to the judges. All of the representatives showed their programs vividly through the analysis of their annual report and the data. Besides, the members of each group must answer variety of questions in English from the judges who are the top managers of the world’s top 500 enterprises, showing their team spirit and excellent mental outlook.

At last, after an afternoon’s intense competition, zhongshan University, Hong Kong University, Guang Dong University of Foreign Studies and Guang Dong University of Business Studies won the qualifications for the final which would be held in shanghai.

During the whole match, STU SIFE group took the initiative to communicate with other groups, consulted the problems we should pay attention to and the solutions. The members also communicated with some top managers and project managers. The SIFE top managers acknowledged the work our group had done and gave us some valuable advice.

Through this activity, our SIFE group established relationships with other groups, knew their operation process further, and got much valuable information, which would made our target clearer and understood SIFE itself more deeply and clearly.
