An exchange group of two from University of Victoria School of Business, Canada, visited Shantou University on 15th December. During the short stay at the ACC, UVic representatives Mr Brian Leacock, the associate director of International Programs, and Ms Christina Li, the International Projects Coordinator, had a meeting with staff from the Business School to discuss the matters regarding collaborative projects and exchange programs between STU and UVic. Deputy Dean of STU Business School Professor Ouyang Feng, Professor Kong Ying, Professor Wang Yi, Professor Lin Jiali and Cong Huang attended the meeting.
Mr Leacock introduced to the attendees the programs UVic has established with universities in China and Europe, including the training programs for Changsha University teaching staff, MBA exchange programs with Central South University, etc. Professor Kong, the supervisor of International Collaboration Office, introduced to the guests the current collaborative projects STU has developed with domestic and international universities, indicating that STU is highly interested in undergraduate and postgraduate exchange programs, as well as training and development projects. Both parties established substantial discussions.
