School of Business Held a Campus Talk on Overseas Exchange Program 2022

On the afternoon of November 9, 2022, Shantou University School of Business held a campus talk on overseas exchange program at the East Coast Campus, which was warmly embraced by many freshmen.

With the mission of "Educating tomorrow’s business managers with global perspectives, craftsmanship spirit, ability to innovate and willingness to take responsibility", the School of Business has been encouraging faculty and students to participate in international cooperation and exchange. During the campus talk, Jiang Jiamei, from the International Affairs Office School of Business, gave a systematic introduction to the overseas exchange programs of the School of Business. She introduced the types of programs and fees, selection requirements and application process, common questions and notes etc., to provide students with systematic and comprehensive access to program information and application guidelines and help them better understand the overseas exchange programs of the School of Business.

The campus talk also invited Zhang Shuyu, a student who participated in the exchange program of HEC Montréal, to share her study and life experience abroad. She suggested that students should take the initiative to grasp every opportunity to participate in various exchange programs and practical activities to gain a deeper understanding of the local culture and cultivate global perspectives when studying abroad. Besides, students were suggested to maintain confidence in profound Chinese culture, and fully demonstrate the uniqueness of the School of Business Shantou University, thus bridging cultural and academic exchanges.

In the Q&A session, students actively asked questions about the project application and preparation for the exchange. Jiang Jiamei meticulously answered the questions for the students and encouraged them to plan their university life, make full use of the university's resources, and strive to realize their dream of studying abroad. The campus talk ended with warm applause from the students.
