Good News|School of Business won the 2022 AMBA&BGA Best Lifelong Learning Initiative SILVER Award and Best Innovation Strategy Nomination Award

On the evening of December 9th 2022, the AMBA & BGA Excellence Awards 2022/23 ceremony was held in London, UK, and School of Business Shantou University won the 2022 AMBA&BGA Best Lifelong Learning Initiative SILVER Award and Best Innovation Strategy Nomination Award.

 

The AMBA & BGA has set up 10 Excellence Awards in 2022. Universities from all over the world including China,USA,UK,France,Canada,Australia,New Zealand,Italy,Ireland,Portugal,India,Egypt,Nigeria,etc. take part in the competition. Business School attaches great importance to and actively participates in this AMBA&BGA award submission process. After the first round of judging, a total of four universities from Mainland China entered the final competition, and finally School of Business Shantou University won the 2022 AMBA&BGA Best Lifelong Learning Initiative SILVER Award.

 

At the award ceremony in London, UK, Prof. Liang Qiang, dean of School of Business, delivered a speech online. Prof. Liang firstly expressed his heartfelt gratitude to AMBA&BGA for its outstanding contribution to global business education and society sustainable development and promised that the school will educating tomorrow’s business managers with global perspectives, craftsmanship spirit, ability to innovate and willingness to take responsibility.

 

The MBA Education Centre aims to give full play to the power of MBA and Exclusive Education Alumni Association through platforms such as customized course training services and MBA Elite Forum, etc., to provide students and alumni with a lifelong learning platform. The School of Business was honored again in the international arena, which is an important achievement of its firm strategy implementation and the school will continue to adhere to its mission, contribute to the practice of business education globally.


 

 

 

About the AMBA:

The Association of MBAs (AMBA) was founded in the UK in 1967 as an independent body specializing in MBA quality accreditation. The AMBA accreditation criteria cover nine areas: school, programs, faculty, students, outcomes, curriculum, teaching, assessment and impact, with a focus on reflecting the development of business and management practice. Since 2018 there has been a particular focus on leadership, innovation and entrepreneurship, education in ethics and social responsibility, and the social impact and lifelong learning of business school graduates.
