From 1.28 to 8.26, almost 7 months in Ireland, it’s quite a long journey. Somehow, now just merely after 2 months, when I still get lost sometimes in my home city, the time, the happiness and the frustration in Ireland have all been already sealed into my memory, where the emotional feelings faded out but the facts are well reserved in my journal with lessons being learned.
I might not tell details here about what I learned or what the influences this experience left on me, but instead in short I can show you what I am now compared the one a half year ago, more positive, outgoing and courageous.
Before the arrival in Dublin, study, volunteer and working experience namely are 3 goals I set to myself. Though now when I think back there were smarter ways and wiser choices I should have known and done, it still amazes me that what I did is not bad and actually my life there was quite a bit dramatic and funny.
Advice and tips about the daily life abroad can be easily known from many people and websites, so I save my words here. Indeed nothing is impossible, but the first thing is not to let what you think block what you can and will do. Try hard and wait for surprises.
