Organized by China National MBA Education Supervisory Committee (CNMESC), the discussion forum for batches 7 and 8 MBA education providers was held on 4th and 5th of November at Southwest University in Chongqing. CNMESC deputy managing director Professor Zhao Chunjun,, secretary general Professor Tong Yunheng and deans and persons in charge of batches 7 and 8 MBA education providers participated the forum. Professor Xu Zongling, dean of Shantou University Business School and director of Shantou University MBA Education Centre (STUMEC), and deputy director Professor Lin Jiali joined the forum upon invitation.
Discussions in the forum focused on the feasible solutions to the issues encountered by the 87 institutes (experimental) in carrying out their MBA courses. Other agendas in the forum include: the progress of MBA training in each institute; themed reports presented by the delegates and experts; the issues and the respective solutions in MBA training. Professor Zhao spoke in the concluding session of the forum.
In the parallel sessions, Professor Lin systematically introduced to the attendees the positioning, enrolment, training and recruitment associated with MBA education, as well as difficulties and challenges facing STUMEC. CNMESC secretariat director Wang Ping complemented on the progress and achievements attained by STUMEC.
The forum had provided an opportunity to strengthen and comprehend the communication among MBA education providers across the country, while served as a platform upon which experiences in coping with challenges were shared.
