On April 16
th, 2016, Prof. Animesh Animesh from McGill University in Canada visited Shantou University for a short-term academic communication.
During his visiting in Shantou University, Prof. Animesh delivered some interesting lectures about Intelligent Technology and Marketing in Dr. Steve Shian-Yang Tzeng’s class. Students learned a lot through his vivid speech and active lessons.After class, he spent time with Students to communicate about the differences in the weather, lifestyle and so on between China, India and Canada.
Apart from giving lectures to students in Business School, Prof. Animesh also proposed a speech about S
oftware Patents and Firm Value: A Real Options Perspective on the Role of Innovation Orientation and Environmental Uncertainty to the faculty of Business School.
Prof. Animesh also visited local companies and historic spots when he stayed in Shantou. In the second day of his visit, with the accompany of Tiger DU Juntao, student of Shantou University Business School (STUBS), Prof. Animesh climbed the Sangpu Mountain and enjoyed the beautiful scenery. In the afternoon, students from STUBS introduced the Chaoshan traditional buildings to him by walking around Little Park, Island Mayu and some beautiful temple.
On the last day, Prof. Animesh visited CHJ JEWELLERY, a local jewelry company in Shantou with Dr. Steve Tzeng. He expressed his own ideas about business operation of this company.
