In order to promote mutual communication among freshmen, enhance their team cooperation abilities and survival capabilities in wildlife, Business school held the outdoor challenge training for grade 2011 students on 24th September at Lianhua Resort. Deputy Dean Feng Ouyang, secretary Li Yue and deputy secretary Chen Yinlin of CPC general branch, as well as teaching and administrative staff of the Business School attended the event.
At 9:00 AM, the first activity began, that was mountain climbing. The picture-perfect scenic views along the journey uphill kept students busy with their cameras. Although they were very tired, the attractions towards the end of the route inspired them to persist. To achieve this, they endured the thirsty and intense heat,and encouraged each other with the Chinese traditional story of “wang mei zhi ke”. Finally, all the students and teachers reached the summit eventually.
After a short break, they started to cooperate to build up tents personally. when they finished this big project, they started to make preparations for the barbeque, getting food orderly and cooking by themselves. After the barbeque, they held a grand party by themselves with dynamic and stylish street dancing, emotional singing and many interesting interactive games.
On 25th September, they began team games after breakfast. The star circle, Island trilogy to survive and getting through the Sulfuric acid river were very popular with the students, which molded their cooperative abilities and team spirit.
This outing got succeeded with the help of all the leaders and teachers besides the elaborate plan of the students union. It is definitely going to be a precious memory for some students during the four years of university life.
