On 9th September, the 14th representative assembly of ZANU-PF Shantou Municipal Committee was held in the grand building. This meeting reviewed the work report of the 13th group and elected the new leadership team and representatives of the 14th zanu-pf Guangdong province. Prof Xu Zongling got the chairman position with full support, Liu Yanyu, Luo Xiaohong, Lin Yunshi and Wang Weishen were elected as the vice chairman. Many leaders such as Lin Jingxian, member of the national committee of CPPCC, ZANU-PF of the Standing Committee of Central CPC, Li Xuetong, Municipal Standing Committee and minister of the municipal organization department, and other leaders such as Zhang Zehua, deputy chairman of the municipal democratic partiy,came to the meeting and congratulated to the new leadership group.
Xu Zongling said under the leadership of many relative organizations, the ZANU-PF would adhere to the principle of "set for the public and participate for the people" and “build up inner quality and reflect good outside image”, and tried their best to make contributions to construct a happy Shantou by improving the organizations’ abilities of Political grasp, political participation and consultation, organizational leadership and other important skills.
