On Feb. 6, 2010, Mainland China, Hong Kong and Macao university students got together in the Exhibition Hall of the Hong Kong Productivity Council, participating in the final of the 2009 Hong Kong Social Enterprise Challenge. After the intense competition，the team of STU won the only prize for invited teams “The Best Invitation Team” with it’s specialized and complete business plan and beautiful presentation. The team members include: Chris Chan, Cookie Gu, Lucy Liu, Ginny Zhong, Lu Li, Luby Chan, and Bruce Liu, and the team advisor was Dr. Jannie Lin.
To celebrate the great success of HKSEC2009, the organizer held a gala dinner and awarding ceremony in the Hyatt Regency in Hong Kong, Sha Tin on the finals night. During the dinner, the Shantou University team got some valuable suggestions from specialists and businessmen. The organizer and business people gave great praise to Shantou University’s project “Future Enterpriser Training Centre”.
