The openning ceremony of a training workshop for Bank of Communication (Jieyang Branch, BCJB in the remainder of the text) was held on 9th April. Co-organized by STU Business School and MBA Education Centre, the workshop was custom tailored for BCJB and aimed to promote competence of the middle managers. Dr Lin Jiali, deputy supervisor of MBA Education Centre, chaired the ceremony.
In response to the rapidly growing demand for enhanced competence of middle managers in local businesses, STU Business School and MBA Education Centre have scheduled a series of workshops for the current semester. The workshop for BCJB was designated to enhance managers' abilities in administration, leadership, management and innovation through interactive teaching methods. Main focus of the training was to improve trainees' ability to apply learning outcomes in development and innovation in their workplaces in order to further promote oraganizational transition and development motivations.
Professor Lin Danming, Vice President of Shantou University, faculties of the Business School and MBA Education Centre and 41 middle managers of BCJB attended the ceremony. Professor Lin and senior managers of BCJB delivered their respective speech. Election for class cadres was carried out after the speeches of trainee representatives.
