Nov. 10-11, 2008, Prof. HUANG Yan and Graduate ZHANG Zihong, 2007 industrial economy major, were invited to attend 2008 Risk and Reliability Management international conference. This conference was united held by Beijing Institute of Technology Management and Economy School, China, the George Washington University Project and Applied School, USA, Mississippi State University Business and Industry School, USA. The Philosophy Social Science Innovation Base from the 2nd period of 985 Project of PRC Education Minister supplied sponsor. More than 60 scholars from America, Canada, and domestic high schools attended the conference. Prof. HUANG Yan introduced her paper “Whether independent director from government background is helpful to avoid corporation financial risk?” cooperated with ZHANG Zihong on grouped conference, and answered specialists’ question.
