2010 International Management Conference was held at Shanghai Jiao Tong University during July 24th to 26th.The conference was held by National Natural Science Foundation of China and Organized by Antai College of Economics & Management, Shanghai Jiao Tong University. The topic of this conference is “Management in Post-Crisis Era: Pluralistic World and Diversified Management”.About 300 domestic and foreign experts and scholars attended the conference. Business School Professors Huang Yan, Sima Qianshi and graduate student Ren Yifei attended the meeting on invitation.
At the opening ceremony, Deputy Director Li Yijun of Management Sciences Department ,National Natural Science Foundation of China, Deputy Secretary Xu Fei of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Dean Zhou Lin of Antai College of Economics & Management red an address of welcome to guests respectively. After that, Dean Yang Xian of Business School of National University of Singapore, Professor Clemons from the Wharton Business School of University of Pennsylvania, Professor Xi Kaiyuan from University of Chicago Booth Business School, Professor Michael L. Pinedo from Leonard N. Stern School of Business, Professor Shen Zuojun from College of Engineering of University of California Berke ley, Professor Zhang Shi from Anderson School of Management of University of California-Los Angeles, Zhe Jiang University Business School Huang Zuhui and Deputy Director Gao Ziyou of Management Sciences Department, National Natural Science Foundation of China made keynote speeches.
From 25th to 26th, scholars had group discussions on hot spot issues in management and shared their latest research results. The meeting was divided into eight sub-forums. Professor Huang Yan and her student Ren Yifei submitted the thesis of “Corporate Social Responsibility and Corporate Performance in the Perspective of Marketization”. They reported research methods and the main content and answered representatives’ questions. Professor Huang Yan and Professor Sima Qianshi took this opportunity to introduce the researching and teaching situations of Shantou University Business School to the domestic and foreign counterparts.
