The INFORMS Marketing Annul Conference of 2009 was held on June 4-6 in the City of Ann Arbor, Michigan, the USA. Business School Associate Prof. LI Yue was invited to the conference and read out the thesis of Corporate Philanthropy in China: The Case of 5.12 Wenchuan Earthquake. The conference was organized by the Stephen M. Ross Business School, University of Michigan. The participants are over 600 scholars from the excellent research universities from North America and a few famous universities in other areas of the world.
After the conference, Associate Prof. LI Yue visited several famous universities in North-east US such as Harvard University, Yale University, Princeton University, Pennsylvania University and U.S. Military Academy at West Point. Prof. LI also went to North Dakota State University to discuss the research plan for the program of Preference Inter-cultural Comparative Research on Decision-making of Managers in Chinese and American Companies with the co-worker, Dr. Chanchai Tangpong.
