In March the Clute Institute held a conference in San Antonio, Texas, USA, from 16th - 19th March, 2009 at the Hilton Palacio del Rio. Prof. Nasim Z. Hosein from Business School participated in this conference.
The TLC Conference provides a forum for faculty and administrators to share proven and innovative methods in teaching at the college level. And present papers on teaching issues such as: curriculum, ethics in higher education, promotion and tenure, accreditation, teaching methods and styles, administration, faculty welfare, technology in the classroom, teacher evaluation, department-specific issues, and related topics.
The topic for Prof. Nasim Z. Hosein’s paper was the adoption rates of internet banking which was entered into the marketing section for this conference. The conference included academics from various parts of the world giving their input into issues that affect companies or businesses form these specific areas.
Overall it was a good learning experience and information learnt will be useful to enhance the lectureson marketing.
