On the afternoon of October 10, 2018, our school and the Shantou Branch of Bank of China held a signing ceremony for the course of "Financial Transaction and Practice" in the seminar room of the school.
Dean Erming XU, Prof. Zhibo ZOU whois the course leader and the director of STU Finance Department, Associate Dean Xiangzhi BU, Associate Dean Yue’e LONG, Prof. Qiang LIANG who is the director of MBA Education Center, Mr. Wenxiang DENG who is the president of BOC Shantou Branch and Mr. Xiao’ou CHEN who is the vice president of BOC Shantou Branch attended the signing ceremony. Dean Erming XU and President Wenxiang DENG signed a cooperation agreement on behalf of both parties.
At the signing ceremony, the two parties jointly designed the "Financial Transaction and Practice" course to further deepen the strategic cooperation relationship between the BOC and Shantou University, to build a harmonious and win-win new model of school-bank cooperation, to realize the sharing of advantageous resources between the school and the bank, and finally to establish a long-term and solid partnership.
The two parties also indicated that they will continue to carry out in-depth cooperations to jointly develop the course into excellent and distinctive course. At the same time, they will further strengthen cooperation in the fields of talent training and research to provide greater services for local social and economic development.
