Dean Erming Xu attended the Meeting of EPAS Committee

       From September 25 to 27, the meeting of the EPAS Committee was held by the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD) in Brussel, Belgium. Erming Xu, Dean of Business School, was invited to attend this meeting.

       In July, 2018, Dean Erming Xu was informed to become a member of the EPAS Committee. This was the first EPAS meeting that Dean Erming Xu attended as a member of the EPAS Committee.
During the meeting, EFMD awarded the certificate of EPAS accreditation to our school, which was renewed in 2018.

        

The process of the EPAS accreditation of STU Business School:
Nov 2008  obtains membership of European Foundation for Management Development(EFMD)
Feb 2012  obtains EFMD Program Accreditation System (EPAS) accreditation. The STUBS BBA Program is the first one in Asia to be awarded with the EPAS accreditation.
May 2012  prof.Danming Lin becomes a member of Deans Across Frontiers Committee and he is the first Chinese scholar to join this committee.
Feb 2015  all undergraduate programs obtain EPAS accreditation
Feb 2018  all undergraduate programs obtain EPAS accreditation again
Jul 2018  Dean Erming Xu becomes a member of EPAS Committee
 
  The background of EPAS accreditation:
EPAS, short for EFMD Programme Accreditation System, is one of the two international education quality accreditation systems developed by EFMD, aiming to evaluate the education quality and the degree of internationalization of Business Administration Programs at different levels. This accreditation system has a rigorous and meticulous style and enjoys a world-renowned reputation. So far, only Peking University HSBC Business School and Shantou University Business School have been awarded with the accreditation in mainland China. There are 82 business schools from 38 countries worldwide having obtained this accreditation.
