The achievements of a cooperative research by Professor Yao Hongxin (STU Business School) and Professor Sun Ning (Shanghai University of Finance & Economics) was recently published on Economic Modelling (SSCI). Basing on the theories in strategic trade policy, the two professors added in their works the formation of WTO policies into the construction of models. On top of the contribution to model construction, the authors attempted to prove the manipulability of state behaviours, under WTO’s SDT measures, of both developed and developing countries. A method based on WTO’s position, which is referred to as the ‘proof strategy’, was argued to be effective in the efforts to curb manipulating behaviours of firms. The innovative contents of the conceptual and theoretical models in the essay gained recognition of SSCI editors.
Economic Modelling (SSCI) is an influential periodical journal in economics.
