The Orientation Ceremony for Grade 2011 Business School students was held on 3rd September. Professor Xu, Dean of Business School, the School's faculties and staff attended the ceremony to welcome the new students.
Business School GPB Vice Secretary Mr Chen Yinglin presided the ceremony and announced the commencement of the semester. Dean Xu addressed and briefly introduced to the students the general facts about the School.
Professor Tian Guang delivered a speech on behalf of the faculties, raised to and discussed with attendees whether students should be regarded as the clientele or products of teachers.
MBA, Senior and junior students representatives also spoke in the ceremony.
The 106th Economic Forum was held after the ceremony. Professor Lv Yuan, Consultant to the Business School, delivered a lecture on systemic differences and the challenges confronting Chinese firms, posed by internationalization.
Professor Lin Danming delivered concluding speech and gifed the guest lecturer.
