The 106th Economic Forum was held on 3rd September at the Scientific Report Hall. Professor Lv Yuan of Management Division, Chinese University of Hong Kong, was invited to give a lecture on Systemic Differences and the Challenges, posed by globalization, confronting Chinese firms. The Forum was presided by Professor Lin Danming, Vice President of STU. Dean Xu and faculties and staff of the Business School attended the lecture.
Professor Lv referred to a number of international acquisition attempts by Chinese firms to demonstrate the major challenges they encountered. The elicited issues in these cases, thus the systemic challenges, were thoroughly analysed. His unique insights and arguments attracted attendees' attention and applause.
Professor Lin Danming, Vice President of STU, presented Professor Lv a memorial gift on behalf of the Business School. The 106th Economic Forum was successfully concluded.
