The 5th International Seminar of Soft Science was held in Beijing Railway Building on Nov 4-5, 2008. This seminar was hosted by Association for Soft Science of China and China Soft Science Magazine. Mr. Hu Shaodong from Business School was invited to attend this seminar and submitted paper China Internet Development based on Institution Theory.
This seminar invited Mr. Cheng Siwei, Director of Association for Soft Science of China, Mrs Zhu Lilan, Ex-minister of National Science & Technology Ministry, Mr. William Engdahl, famous economist, Mr. Charde Evins, Vice-president of Strategy Project of the Council on Competitiveness of USA. Over 180 scholars from Tsinghua University, Peking University, China People’s University attended this seminar.
The issue of this International Seminar of Soft Science was Revolution Open and National Development Strategy--- Decision and Soft Science Research. Mr. Cheng Siwei and Mr. William Engdahl made address for this seminar. During the meeting, Mr. Hu Shaodong communicated with other experts and scholars deeply.
