Business School Warmly Held New-term Ceremony for the Students Enrolled in 2008
In the evening of Septermber 10, Business School warmly held new-term ceremony for the students enrolled in 2008 in Science Building. This ceremony was hosted by Mr. Su Junzhi, the general secretary of the communist youth league. Prof. Xu Zongling, Dean of Business School, and all the staff and faculty attended the meeting, also included all the freshman and graduates enrolled in 2008.
On the ceremony, Prof. Xu Zongling, Dean of Business School, welcomed all the students to join Business School. She made a introduction to students about school history, mission, teaching program, development opportunities for students, too. At the same time, she introduced every faculty and stuff.
During the meeting, Prof. Wang Wei communicated with all the newcomers, and expressed that teacher would try their best to offer the best teaching service and build a platform. Tu Xuemei who was a delegate of senior made a speech. She shared her experience and feeling for the three year in Business School. Chen Yinmiao, the freshman, also wanted to gain a fruitful future. Yan Ming, the delegate of new graduates, shared his feeling on Shantou University, and encouraged graduates to make result.
To enlarge the eyesight of students, understand Chinese situation, stand out the teaching characters, “internationalization, localization, refinement, personalization”,of Business School, Business School prepared a wonderful gift for all the students enrolled in 2008: the No. 87 Economic Forum. Prof. Yao Yang, vice Director of CCER, Peking University, was invited specially for newcomers to report “30 years, 60 years, 160years: the history perspective of Chinese economy success”. From history, international view, local experience, detailed observation, Prof. Yao Yang teached all the people here. The ceremony made great success.
