Sponsored by the Communist Youth League of Business School, hosted by 07 grade class committee of Business School, "Simulation competition of the company valuation" was held in Academic Seminar Room at 3:00 on May 9, 2009. The judges were Associate Professor HUANG Zhizhong, Associate Professor SONG Xiaobao, teacher ZENG Rui and SU Bingdian.
After moderator’s introduction of competition rules as well as score rules, the game started. There are six team groups because group one gave up. Every group had 10 minutes to show their PPT and 4 minutes’ ask-answer. Participants’ professional speaking, teachers’ depth commented, as well as questions and answers between teachers and students led to wonderful bursts of applause from the presence. There was a vote on-site after each team finished a speech and at the same time teachers scored the participating teams. The final score was showed on the big screen and teachers made comments on speaker’s lecture content and skills.
Finally, teacher SU Bingdian awarded prizes and certificates for contest winners. Group 7 won the champion because of their excellent performance and professional knowledge. Group 4 won the Second prize because of their briefly speech content. Group 6 won the third prize.
The contest made a successful conclusion at 5:00. This contest left a deep impression on the participants and gave students a platform to show themselves and it was meaningful.
